SELECT RANGE: SCUDO   DOBLO

The success of Fiat vans is a remarkable feat given that Fiat is most commonly associated with small automobiles such as the Fiat Uno and the Fiat Panda. However, Fiat vans were at the forefront of the introduction of so-called ‘Eurovans’ – a joint venture with PSA. The Fiat Ulysse was the forerunner, but since then Fiat vans has branched out to produce some of the most popular modern commercial vehicles.

The Fiat Ducato was first introduced in 1981 with a distinctly continental look. It has been redesigned on three occasions and the current variants of the Fiat Ducato, launched in 2006, are designed to fulfil every commercial need – you can choose from: the Fiat Ducato for goods transport; for conversion; and for passenger transport.

It wasn’t until the 1990s that Fiat vans released the Fiat Scudo – a medium-sized van, smaller than the Ducato. This Fiat van has become particularly popular for commercial use among taxi drivers for whom the ‘combinato’ version can hold up to seven people. There are Scudos available for conversion, goods transport and passenger transport.

In 2001, Fiat vans unveiled a new edition to its fleet, the Fiat Doblo. This panel van, also described as a leisure activity vehicle, was restyled in 2005 and won recognition in 2006 as the international van of the year.

Meanwhile, the Fiat Grande Punto van is built for those who want the looks and easy driving associated with a conventional car but the space and storage room of a small van. It is ideal for drivers who need to carry around the tools of their trade but who also want an economical vehicle for personal use.
